About Us

Il Casita opened in November 2007.

Together Steve and Julie have over 25 years of experience in delivering high quality food and fine dining. Steve, the chef and co-owner, worked at Quaglino’s and La Gavroche in London before moving on board the QE2 cruise ship for 5 years in the Queens Grill, QE2s top restaurant. 

Julie and her family have a long history of working in the hospitality industry that includes owning guest houses and hotels across Nottingham. Julie spent 7 years working overseas in and around top quality hotels from the Mediterranean to the Pacific. 

Steve and Julie are now bringing their expertise in fine dining and hospitality to Devon through their very own restaurant, Il Casita.
